  • This course will build on the knowledge attained in the Unify Certified Sales Expert for OpenScape 4000 program and will provide more details on the architecture of OpenScape 4000 with an emphasis onthe technical aspects. It will also prepare the student to discuss the components of the OpenScape 4000 solution , the deployment scenarios for supporting branch locations, redundancy options, TDM and IP workpoints, virtualization on VMWare, administration, licensing and more.

Objectives

  • The "Unify Technical Sales Module 2 for OpenScape 4000"- Preparation Course is designed for the direct and indirect Technical Sales role. It is the third in a series of certification preparation courses which will prepare the student to take the Unify Certified Technical Sales Specialist (UCTSS) Certification Exam for OpenScape 4000.
  • Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Describe the software architecture of OpenScape 4000.
  • List all components of the OpenScape 4000.
  • Evaluate the appropriate redundancy option based on customer needs.
  • Identify the supported hardware environments for OpenScape 4000 including virtual machine.
  • Describe the target market for the OpenScape 4000.
  • State the options for connecting to the PSTN.
  • Recognize the license requirements of OpenScape 4000 to fit customer needs.
  • Discuss the methods of system administration for Moves and Changes.
  • List available documents that can be used for reference and additional information for OpenScape 4000 solutions.

Prerequisites

  • Achieved Sales Specialist OpenScape Enterprise (STI-310) Certification is recommended.
