Brief Description

This course and accompanying exam will certify the student at the Expert level and will expand the knowledge gained from the Specialist level. This will include more detailed product information of OpenScape Voice components and how they fit into the customer’s environment with a focus on virtualization, survivability, security and enabling virtual teams in the “New Way to Work”.

Description

  • This web based training course will build on the knowledge attained in the Unify Sales Expert for OpenScape Voice program and will provide more details on the architecture of OpenScape Voice with an emphasis on the ways this architecture is beneficial to the customer. The course will enable the Sales Representative to address many of the key concerns that customers have in the large enterprise environment in regard to business continuity, information and asset security, and improved team efficiency with OpenScape Unified Communications software.

Objectives

  • The Unify Sales Expert for OpenScape Voice preparation course is designed for direct and indirect Sales Representatives and Technical Sales. It is the second module in a series of certification preparation courses which will prepare the student to take the Unify Sales Expert (USE) Certification Exam for OpenScape Voice.
  • Passing the Unify Sales Expert Exam (STI-735) is required to receive certification.
  • Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Describe the architecture of OpenScape Voice and the related ecosystem.
  • Compare methods OpenScape Voice uses to ensure business continuity via redundancy and survivability.
  • Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of deploying OpenScape components in a VMWare virtualized deployment.
  • Explain the ways that OpenScape Voice can provide network security and VoIP security.
  • Give examples of the “New Way to Work” enabled by an OpenScape Voice implementation.

  • Unify Sales Specialist for Large Enterprise with OpenScape Voice course (OSVUSSPSDV)
