Digital Telephony (EL7201E)
Brief Description
Digital Telephony is a web based training (WBT) for everyone interested in the characteristics and operating principles of digital transmission and switching systems. The objectives are among others structure of a PCM system, conversion of analog signals into PCM signals and functioning principle of digital switching networks. After completing this training participants among others know the principal of digital transmission (pulse code modulation PCM, time division multiplex TDM), the operating principles of digital exchanges and the functioning principle of digital switching networks. The prerequisite for this training are basic knowledge of telecommunications. PC with soundcard and headset are recommended. In order to book and participate in e-learning events you require a myTraining Account.
