Brief Description

This course is intended for Unify OpenScape Service Engineers. It covers the installation, integration and administration of the Unify OpenScape SBC. Most of the scenarios can be tested too LAB infrastructure (remote/on-premise) will be provided for.

Objectives

  • The participant
  • Knows the features, functions and possible modes of the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows how to install the Unify OpenScape SBC into customer's environment
  • Knows core side bindings and connections to the SIP-PBX (min. OSV)
  • Knows how to connect remote subscribers to the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows how to connect Gateways to the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows how to configure Unify OpenScape Branch (OSB) to the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows how to connect SIP Service Provider to the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows how to connect MS-Teams Direct Routing to interact with the Unify OpenScape SBC
  • Knows methods of troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Is able to perform an upgrade, backup and restore

Prerequisites

  • LAN / WAN topology
  • VoIP / SIP
  • Not mandatory but recommended: OSE (OSV/OSB) courses - e.g. SOLADM1SCS and/or SOLADV1SCS and/or OSBADV1SCS
