This course is intended for Mitel OpenScape Service Engineers. It covers the installation, integration and administration of the Mitel OpenScape SBC. Most of the scenarios can be tested too LAB infrastructure (remote/on-premise) will be provided for.

Objectives

The participant
Knows the features, functions and possible modes of the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows how to install the Mitel OpenScape SBC into customer's environment
Knows core side bindings and connections to the SIP-PBX (min. OSV)
Knows how to connect remote subscribers to the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows how to connect Gateways to the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows how to configure Mitel OpenScape Branch (OSB) to the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows how to connect SIP Service Provider to the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows how to connect MS-Teams Direct Routing to interact with the Mitel OpenScape SBC
Knows methods of troubleshooting and maintenance
Is able to perform an upgrade, backup and restore

Not mandatory but recommended: OSE (OSV/OSB) courses - e.g. SOLADM1SCS and/or SOLADV1SCS and/or OSBADV1SCS
