Brief Description

This e-Learning is designed as self paced learning. You learn whenever and wherever you like using your individual training speed. This course and accompanying exam will certify the student at the Specialist level and will expand the knowledge gained from the Sales Expert level. This will include more technically oriented information on OpenScape Voice with a focus on architecture, deployment models, branch survivability, mobility and Unified Communications.

Description

  • This course will build on the knowledge attained in the Unify Certified Sales Expert for OpenScape Voice program and will provide more details on the architecture of OpenScape Voice with an emphasis on the technical aspects. It will also prepare the student to discuss the components of the OpenScape Voice ecosystem, how SIP is used in the OpenScape environment, the various deployment models available, bandwidth management with Call Admission Control, Unified Communications and many more topics.

  • OpenScape UC App

Objectives

  • The Unify Technical Sales Specialist for OpenScape Voice preparation course is designed for the direct and indirect Technical Sales role. It is the third in a series of certification preparation courses which will prepare the student to take the Unify Certified Technical Sales Specialist (UCTSS) Certification Exam.
  • Passing the Unify Certified Technical Sales Specialist Exam (STI-630) is required to receive certification.
  • Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Describe the software architecture of the OpenScape Voice ecosystem.
  • List all components of the OpenScape Voice ecosystem.
  • Describe the software architecture of OpenScape UC App.
  • List all components of the OpenScape UC App.
  • Compare redundancy and survivability.
  • Identify the supported hardware environments for OpenScape Voice including virtual machine.
  • Describe the method of bandwidth management with Call Admission Control.
  • State the options for connecting to the PSTN.
  • Explain signaling, media stream and application security options.
  • Describe the capabilities of OpenScape UC App.
  • List available documents that can be used for reference and additional information for OpenScape solutions.

  • Unify Sales Specialist for Large Enterprise with OpenScape Voice course (OSVUSSPSDV)
  • Unify Sales Expert for OpenScape Voice course (OSVUSEPSDV)
