Objectives

  • After taking this course, the student will be able to:
  • Install SQL.
  • Install Windows-Based Single-Node Deployment Service application.
  • Login to DLS via local or remote connectivity.
  • Perform basic configuration tasks.
  • Understand the menu overview, search masks, filter and links, time controlled tasks and job management.
  • Recognize the tasks, functions, and purpose of a DLS server, modes of deployment, and requirements.
  • Register IP Workpoints.
  • Transfer parameters to a single or several IP Workpoints.
  • Deploy IP Workpoint software.
  • Create Templates, assign Templates to Profiles.
  • Use Get & Apply Templates
  • Recognize the DHCP configuration requirements for AutoConfiguration
  • Use Element Manager to synchronize DLS with an OpenScape 4000 system.
  • Perform Backup/Restore.

  • Students must have a good understanding of:
  • IP Phones / IP Clients
  • LAN environments

  • This course is designed for the OpenScape 4000. OpenScape Voice DLS course is the OSVDLS course code.
