Mitel SIP-DECT I&M rel 9.2 (Self Study) (TSIPDECT92)

Brief Description

This course will provide basic training on SIP-DECT Rel 9.2 including installing SIP-DECT, configuring Base Stations (also called RFPs), subscribing DECT phones and setting up various Mitel Call Server platforms (i.e. PBXs) for SIP DECT. This training will be required to call into Mitel Product Support with SIP-DECT questions.
Should the student (m/f/d) assume that they already know the information presented, they can go immediately to the Exam portion of the training. Only three attempts of the exam are allowed.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be qualified to install and maintain a basic Mitel SIP-DECT Rel 9.2 system.

After completion the final exam the competence SIP-DECT rel 9.2 Technical Niveau 1 is granted.

Prerequisites

  • Before registering, the following courses must be successfully completed
  • Mitel SIP-DECT Primer (TSIPDECTPR) and the test (TSIPDECTTS)
  • It is recommended that the student (m/f/d) attend Networking 4 VoIP or have a current CCNA or CTP certification.
  • IMPORTANT NOTICE:
  • Before registering for this course, it is imperative that students (m/f/d) have a working knowledge of IP based LANs including routers, switches, DHCP, FTP and Telnet. It is equally important that students (m/f/d) be very comfortable with PCs including network configuration and IP utilities.
