Brief Description

The basic training MItel OpenScape Business is a course for service personnel with good knowledge of ISDN, LAN/WAN, Windows and Mitel OpenStage telephones. The course content includes the installation, start up and upgrading of the system. Another focus is the integration of Mitel OpenScape business Smart Voicemail . After completing this course, the participant can install and start up a system, as well as can configure and perform the software update.

Objectives

The participant is be able to
Install, start of a Mitel OpenScape Business standalone system and as well as perform diagnostics in case of trouble.
Implement the minimum basic configuration of the system.
Activate the Subscriber and System licenses.
Implement workpoints for telephony in the IP network and in ISDN.
Install the UC Smart features and UC Smart Clients of the Mitel OpenScape Business Standalone System.
Perform a backup and restore of the Mitel OpenScape Business System.
Update of a System and also perform Diagnoses in case of a interruption

Prerequisites

Hardware requirements on student site are:
IP-Infrastructure with Internet access for
at least 3x Mitel OpenStage HFA or CP devices
1 Desktop PC or notebook with current web browser
