Brief Description

This course is for service-oriented technicians. Goal is to introduce the V11 topics, as offered by the Product House (PH). Main objectives are BYOT and SBA as well as upgrade and licensing (this is a new Major Release). Participants should be able to fulfill customer expectations related to the V11 release. This training also covers some OSV V10R3 late features/stories.

Module 1 "OSEV110UDX" (duration 56 minutes),
module 2 "OSE110BUDX" (duration 25 minutes) and
module 3 "OSE110CUDX" (duration 20 minutes). Total duration of the course is 101 minutes.

System enhancements of the OpenScape SBC and OpenScape Branch V11:
Upgrade/Licensing
Bring your own trunk (BYOT) - OSS only
Microsoft's Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) - OSS only
Keep user PHP private files during software upgrades (OSS/OSB)
Adopt flags from OSB to SBC
Enhancement of feature: Open external firewall pinhole (OSS/OSB)
New Hardware platform for SBC: Kontron 550
Enable the OSB550 systems to be installed headless (OSB)
Company Flex OSB changes (OSB only)

Objectives

The participant
knows the SBC/OSB Major Release V11 system enhancements.
is able to upgrade and license the products and present/implement the new features to the customer.

Prerequisites

Adequate knowledge about the OpenScape Voice V10, OpenScape Branch V10, OpenScape SBC V10 and CMP - for example gained through:
OpenScape Solution Administrator (SOLADM1SCS)
OpenScape Solution Advanced (SOLADV1SCS)
OpenScape Branch for Service (OSBADV1SCS)
OpenScape Session Border Controller (SBCADV1SCS)
OpenScape Voice Installation and Initial Operation (OSVINSTSCS)
OpenScape Voice Maintenance (OSVMAINSCS)
and/or Market Introduction Training V10Rx
